Art & Beauty

Art & Beauty

With life moving on a super fast track, we recently got the opportunity to slow down and experience the art of contemplation.

This week, we had the blessing of receiving an amazing artist who joined us as a great ally of Arco Isis Sanctuary. We hold a massive vision to hold space for the New Earth—a mission that goes all the way back nine years to when Matthew first saw this mothership during a medicine journey.

To this day, it has been a real-time rollercoaster of experience and adaptation. We have always done our best, but that effort is also our path to evolution. Because there is always room to grow and do things a little better, the experience of each retreat, each guest, and each passing year has brought us exactly here, to 2026.

This time, we chose to anchor our vision into the physical space through art.

As the first piece of this integration, we welcomed Oxytocin, our dear friend from Peru. He arrived with such a bright vision and immersed himself in the sanctuary not as a foreigner, but as a natural part of the ecosystem, a vital thread in the mycelium.

Around the fire, we shared music, philosophy, and dropped into that rare state of hyper-focus that the creative world unlocks. We talked deeply about the true mission of an artist, realizing that physical pieces are never the final destination. They are bridges. The actual art isn't just what is built on the outside, but your own internal exploration as you sit with the piece.

It is the breath of nature moving through a bridge from the collective to each individual soul, woven together just like mycelium beneath the earth.

Now, Oxy is continuing his journey onward to Flores. We are more than grateful for his presence, his devotion, and the masterpiece he has gifted to this space. I am certain this is just the first of many collaborations in a very bright future!
